Description & Requirements

About YOU:

JSX's IEP Auditor is responsible for oversight of the JSX's Safety Management System (SMS) and compliance. Coordinates efforts across JSX to audit policies, procedures, and practices that will assist the Director of Safety in ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, identifying hazards, and implementing risk controls.

Fine Print:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, including database and spreadsheet programs.
  • Must be familiar with Web Based Application Tool (WBAT)
  • Analytical aptitude with an ability to translate data into everyday language and action.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have airline experience in maintenance, flight operations, ground operations or related area.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving, troubleshooting, attention to detail, and the ability to understand interrelated elements.
  • Knowledge of CFRs, OpSpecs, FAA Order 8900.1, OSHA and other regulatory requirements and guidance preferred.
  • Proactive; consistently takes initiative and always closes the loop.
  • Air Carrier Safety Department experience.
  • 1-2 years of Tech Ops experience.
  • A&P License Preferred.
