About YOU

The IT Business Analyst at JSX will serve as a critical liaison between our business units and technology teams. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, recommend process improvements, and support the implementation of technical solutions that align with our core objectives. This position offers a solid foundation for a motivated professional looking to grow in the field of technology and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer-Facing Content Updates
    • Coordinate with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to publish and maintain accurate, consistent messaging across web, mobile, and support channels.
    • Monitor content performance and recommend improvements to boost customer engagement.
    • Own the content‑update workflow within our internal CMS and knowledge‑base platforms (no prior tool expertise required).
  2. Business Requirements Analysis
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements.
    • Translate business needs into user stories or technical specifications.
    • Identify process inefficiencies and propose potential improvements.
  1. Project Coordination
    • Assist in defining project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
    • Support project timelines and deliverables through effective communication.
  1. Technical Solution Support
    • Participate in evaluating proposed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
    • Contribute to the testing and validation of new systems or enhancements.
  1. Documentation
    • Develop and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for project requirements and technical solutions.
    • Ensure documentation is accessible and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
  1. Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Gather and analyze data to support decision-making and track key performance indicators.
    • Assist in generating reports or dashboards that provide actionable insights.
  1. Continuous Improvement
    • Proactively recommend enhancements to existing processes and systems.
    • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends.
  1. General Platform Familiarity (Nice to Have)
    • Basic knowledge of content management or collaborative platforms is beneficial but not required.
    • Willingness to learn or support minor configuration tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  1. Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 1–3 years of experience in a business analysis or related role; internships or strong academic project experience may be considered.
  1. Technical Skills
    • Understanding of business process modeling and requirements gathering.
    • Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies.
    • Experience with data analysis techniques and tools.
  1. Soft Skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.
    • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating attention to detail.
    • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment and capable of managing multiple tasks.
    • Collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to learning.

Pay & Perks

Compensation range $60,000 - $80,000. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation. Most qualified Candidates will receive an offer near the starting point of our compensation range.
