About YOU: 

JSX's Data Analyst is a creative and passionate individual who excels at harnessing information from industry and company data to gain deep insights into our customers. This role leverages data analytics to support our Commercial and Marketing teams, providing management with timelyaccurate information to drive aggressive revenue and growth targets. The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to go beyond building requested reports by proactively diving into large data sets to extract critical insights that are pivotal to JSX's success.  
 

What you will be doing:  

  • Develop data stores and reporting functions for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting for the marketing and commercial team. 

  • Analyze sales, customer, and marketing trends (and summarize in a digestible fashion) to identify business trends and opportunities and quantify the effects of business changes, initiatives, and events.  

  • Conduct regular trend analysis of revenue and customer patterns to uncover insights and drive decision-making. 

  • Partner with IT and business units to develop simulations and best practices to ensure proper KPI reporting and assessment.

Fine Print: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Math, Economics, Business, or other relevant degree (essential requirement). 

  • Demonstrated project discipline and experience (essential requirement). 

  • 2+ years in data visualization, data analytics or business analytics (essential requirement). 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL (essential requirement) 

  • Proficient in Tableau or other data visualization software (essential requirement) 

  • Proficiency in data science and statistical analysis tools such as Python or R. (essential requirement) 

  • Ensure Data integrity across all JSX's platforms. 

  • Utilize SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, and other reporting tools to create KPI reports and Performa ad hoc analysis. 

  • Highly analytical and data-oriented, with the ability to translate complex data into everyday language. 

  • Strong presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying insights and recommendations to senior management. 

  • Experience in developing interactive dashboards and data visualizations for executive-level decision-making. 

  • Experience in the aviation industry or a strong understanding of airline operations and revenue management.  

  • Advanced proficiency in data science and statistical analysis tools such as Python or R.  

  • Familiarity with customer segmentation, personalization, and marketing automation tools.  

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and tools, such as Google Analytics or Big Query.
